    Abstract: Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases (aaRSs)是一群必要的轉譯酵素,它會將胺基酸接到相對應的tRNA,形成的aminoacyl-tRNA接著被送至核醣體進行蛋白質合成。原核細胞內通常有二十個不同的aaRSs,每一個aaRS對應一種胺基酸;但是在真核細胞內則有二套不同的aaRSs (共四十個),分別作用在細胞質及粒線體內,這二套aaRS通常只會辨認各自分隔間內的tRNA,因此功能上不能互相取代。不僅如此,辨認相同胺基酸的細胞質及粒線體aaRSs通常也是由二個不同的細胞核基因所解碼。以這;Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases (aaRSs) are a family of essential translation enzymes, each of which catalyzes the coupling of a specific amino acid to its cognate tRNAs.
