    摘要: 研究期間:10108~10207;Research indicates that Taiwan will have become an aged society after 6 years. In this May, the biomedical science park is also opened, and the bio-medical industries have become the most interested issue. This project is going to develop a bio-assay instrument which is based on the mature semiconductor technologies in Taiwan. In recent years, researches point out that diseases release some specific proteins, the “bio-markers”, during the illness process, even before and after. If man can detect the bio-marker as soon as possible, the disease could be cured. All the bio-assay processes depend on the biosensing technologies and biosensors. Guided mode resonance (GMR) biosensor is one of the optical label-free sensors. They have advantages on low cost chip fabrication, simple measurement, modulable sensing region, and high throughput. However, optical simulations indicate that there are more than half of intrinsic sensitivity has not been used effectively. According to this reason, we propose a “metal assisted guided mode resonance (MaGMR)” method, which can employ the intrinsic sensitivity effectively. MaGMR brings a “strong asymmetric resonance” and results in “electric field shifting effect” which can effective employ the intrinsic sensitivity, also enhance the sensitivity. Then, built the assay system, finally apply to biomolecular detection. In this project, the objectives is: a. To enhance the sensitivity of typical GMR sensor by applying MaGMR structure b. To built a real time multi-channel assay system c. To immobilize aptamer as the label free bio-recognition molecule The key technologies include high sensitivity assay technology, real time detection, label-free, multi-channel and high throughput and low cost process.
