研究中利用產業層級資料及員工個人層級資料,並以兩階段最小平方法(2SLS)及普通最小平方法(OLS)實證方法加以估計:實證結果指出與中國貿易依存度的增加對低教育程度員工影響程度最劇烈,而產業間的技術進步對高教育程度員工影響最深,並使得員工因教育成不同所造成的薪資差距出現擴大的情況,而此結果符合技術變動導致員工技能改變之理論( skill-biased of technological change-SBTC)Focus of this study is to investigate the degree of dependence on foreign trade between Taiwan and China and technological progress of industry, will enable employees of different educational levels in Taiwan caused by the impact of the wage gap. Use the data from 1993 to 2008 in Taiwan Manpower Utilization Survey data and Taiwan institute of economic research’s industrial economics database which supplemented by various government agencies publications, including the National Science Council of Science and Technology Statistics Summary, Ministry of Economic Affairs Industrial Production Statistics Monthly (Annual Report), Trade between the Ministry of Finance (Annual Report) and the National Science Council - Statistics database. In the paper which using industry level data and staff personal level data, and use two-stage least squares (2SLS) and ordinary least squares (OLS) to estimate the empirical method: empirical results indicate that increasing trade dependence with China will cause low-educated workers the most dramatic impact, while the inter-industry technological progress will influence on the most highly educated employees, and makes the wage gap widening, finally, this results is consistent with skill -biased of technological change theory.
